About RDI
Rural Dynamics, Inc. (RDI) is a statewide financial empowerment center that provides programs to help people achieve financial wellness.
We are working towards a future where everyone is able to access equitable economic opportunities in our communities.
Along with financial counseling and education, our nonprofit offers housing counseling, homebuyer workshops, special needs trusts, no-cost tax preparation, and low-interest assistive technology lending.
Our programs and partnerships all provide pathways to building financial resilience. We also utilize indirect or upstream strategies such as forming coalitions, leading communications, capacity building for poverty reduction, and advocacy support to meet our mission.
Our nonprofit provides all services and programs statewide in Montana.

Financial EmpowerMent
A relationship-based approach to financial counseling, coaching and asset building activities that helps people achieve their self-set goals.
Housing Success
RDI's certified housing counselors can help with many kinds of housing issues. This includes maintaining a rental, purchasing a home, or preventing a foreclosure. We’ll walk with you every step of the way.
MT Families Trust
RDI Financial Wellness is the organizational Trustee of the Montana Families Trust. In collaboration with DA Davidson, we administer these first and third party trust accounts for beneficiaries living with a disability.
Free Tax Help
RDI Tax Help is a coalition of community partners, working together to provide no-cost tax preparation and access to other financial services. RDI volunteer tax preparers are trained and IRS-certified.
MT Assistive Technology Loans
The Montana Assistive Technology Loan (MATL) program finances low-interest (APR) loans to people living with a disability who are in need of assistive technology.
